Thanks for sitting down with us Tania! Could you please tell us a little bit about your background and what brought you to Cherry Godfrey?
Having worked for the Jersey Post for twenty years, I joined Cherry Godfrey at the beginning of 2024. I was very drawn to the fact Cherry Godfrey is a family-run business.
What was your first job, and what did you learn from it?
My first job was working in a hospital as an Operating Theatre Assistant. In this role, I learned to be patient and kind.
Great personal attributes. What would you say makes someone a great leader?
I would have to say that a great leader is someone who empowers others.
Absolutely! Could you please tell us about the biggest challenge you’ve ever faced at work and how you overcame it?
Working with the public can be challenging but is also very rewarding!

What daily habits help you succeed?
Prioritising good communication and having a positive attitude towards life in general.
If you were able to invite any three people round for dinner (living or dead), who would you choose – and why?
I would invite Queen Elizabeth II - I think she would be great fun with great stories to tell! I would also want Ghandi there, as he was a visionary. Finally, my Dad - I never had the chance to say goodbye.
Lovely. And, finally, what do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
I enjoy reading and cooking and socialising with my friends and family.
